2012 All Saints Camps
Collegiate Prep Basketball has been retained by Mattie Azurmundie, Director of Athletics at All Saints Church to conduct instructional camps in a professional, hands-on, manner that get results in improving players knowledge and ability. We are able to do this because simply...we care. Our product is your child's measureable improvement and future success. This is our full time avocation and not just a side gig to make a few bucks in the off season.
How do we do this and why are we better than the competition? We are professional in our approach, organized and we have developed and utilize a proven process. Our staff is comprised of former college coaches and players that work with us throughout the year and are not just "hired seasonal help". Others have trained under our teutelage as players themselves and have "lived or executed" our philosophy successfully and now mentor the current players.
Little Hoopsters Camp (ages 4-7)
This camp curriculum was designed back in the summer of 2000 when Coach Tucker was at Western Kentucky University. Dennis Felton's wife, Melanie, was a frustrated mom whose children were 4 and 7 at the time. After some child care research and an intricate knowledge of how to teach, Coach Tucker created the "Itty Bitty" Camp. That program attracted over 100 kids ages 4-7 and is still in existence to this day. Once the partnership with the City of Roswell Recreation and Parks Department was initiated, Coach Tucker interjected this curriculum with that program which has consistently had 200 kids each summer over two weeks.
The curriculum consists of a detailed introduction of what attending a camp is all about in addition to specific basketball techniques. Our experienced staff encourages kids to expand their personality in a fun and enthusiastic atmosphere where actual learning occurs. Fine motor skills of pivoting, passing, ball handling, and lay-ups are taught and refined as well as listening and executing. It is a process, but by the end of the week most players exhibit discernable improvement.

Times: 12:30pm - 3:30pm
Enrollment: Boys and girls ages 4-7 (45 players maximum)
Investment: $125 = just $8.33 per hour
All campers will receive a camp t-shirt and an opportunity to be camper of the day each day from each group of 10. There is no need for a meal with the 3 hour program.

Elementary Camp (ages 8-12)
This introductory fundamental camp is perfect for the player who has played church or rec ball and interested in more detailed instruction. Small group competitive contests and breakdowns dominate as well as controlled 5 on 5 segments for practical applications of skills.

Advanced Recreational Camp (ages 10-14)
This camp is perfect for the player who has played church or rec ball and interested in more detailed instruction as well as better competition. Small group competitive breakdowns, 5 on 5 competitive sessions and practical applications of skills against live defenders comprise this curriculum.

All Sports Camp (ages 9 - 13)
This camp is the most FUN of the entire summer. This is the neighborhood experience that we all grew up with as kids playing in the street or back yard. Soccer, kick ball, wiffle ball, water balloon toss, capture the flag, basketball, old school NY style stick ball and much more.
