Covid-19 Guidelines

Regardless of any one individual's personal perspective on the issue of Covid-19 guidelines and policies we are blessed to have facilities with the courage to allow us to have an opportunity for kids to be kids and just play.  As an organization who has utilized a multitude of facilities in the area over the past 16 years we understand and are encouraged by the leaders at the City of Roswell and King's Ridge Christian School to be stewards of the community while balancing the safety of it's members.  Therefore, it comes down to an old school principle...."their courts, their rues"!

In a time where it seems our country is struggling with the concept or healthy balance between the rights of the individual vs the needs of the masses in this case it is a very simple policy.  No one is mandated to wear a mask as that is certainly your right, however to enter any facility utilized by CPBA for this league you must wear a mask.

Our staff will also be taking random temperatures with laser thermomotor of players, coaches officials and fans.  Anyone with a temperature above 100.4 degrees F or 38 degrees C will need to leave the facility unfortunately.

We also encourage social distancing....

  • This means limit congregating at the exits and in the foyer before and after games
  • Spread out while in the bleachers.  Fans of different teams should be in separate sections while fans from the same teams should keep 6 feet between families.

ATHLETES/COACHES:

  • Athletes, coaches and officials are expected to wear a mask prior to and after their assignment while inside any facility.
  • Athletes, coaches and officials can voluntarily wear masks while competing, but it is not required.  If a parent is adamant that their player wears a mask that will be enforced by the team coach not the league.
  • It is highly encouraged that each team bring their own hand sanitizer and use before entering any facility as well when exiting.
  • The water fountains will be closed.  Athletes are responsible for bringing their own water
  • The locker rooms will not be open for athletes to use.  There will be a designated bathroom that athletes and fans can use one at a time.

FANS/PARENTS:

  • ALL NON TEAM PERSONNEL INCLUDING PARENTS, SIBLINGS, GRANDPARENTS, FRIENDS AND OTHER SUPPORTERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS TO BE ALLOWED ENTRY OR TO REMAIN IN THE BUILDING INCLUDING BLEACHERS, FOYER, HALLWAYS OR RESTROOMS.
  • Folks without a mask will be kindly asked to exit the building.  Folks who refuse to wear a mask will be encouraged to comply by their team's coach.  Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action against the team/coach per league rules under the guidelines of fan behavior.

Guidelines to consider before attending games:

    1. Do you or have you had a fever over the last 14 days? (100.4 and above)
    2. Have you had any symptoms of COVID-19, such as cough, sore throat, loss of smell, body aches, or shortness of breath, over the last 14 days?
    3. Have you been diagnosed with COVID-19?
    4. Have you been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days?
    5. Have you traveled to a hot spot for COVID-19 or left the country in the last 14 days?

If you answer yes to any of these questions you might choose to consider others and stay away for the sake of the greater good.
