Summer Basketball Camp 2022

Enrollment: Rising grades 4th – 9th boys and 6th- 8th girls
Dates: Monday, June 6th - Friday, June 10th, 2022
Location: Hendricks Middle School, 4950 Hyde Rd, Cumming, GA 30040
Daily Schedule: 8:30am-12:00pm Grades 4th – 6th boys and Grades 6th - 8th girls
12:30pm-4:00pm Grades 7th - 9th boys
Awards Ceremony: Friday, June 10th last 20 minutes of each session
Investment: $175 or $10.00 per on court hour
Program Content:
-Speed, agility and flexibility training -Improvement of weak hand
-Proper shooting form and preparation -Necessary body lean while ball-handling
-Becoming a “two footed player” -Individual & team defensive stance alignment
-Personal reliability within the team defense -Offensive non-ball skills
-Understanding of defensive angles and rotations -Reading the secondary defense
-Assessing the defense for proper passing angles and entries -Understanding and escaping pressure defenses
-Rebounding strategies utilizing leverage and horizontal concept -Proper screening angles, techniques and reads
The camp will be directed by Coach Bert Tucker of Collegiate Prep Basketball Academy in conjunction with Vickery Creek Boys’ Basketball Championship winning Coaches Michael Cheek and Jamie Tafuto. Gatorade Program:
We would like to offer our Gatorade program to Patriot players. You will have unlimited Gatorade provided to you all week long. At the end of every day your bottle will be refilled so that you can enjoy your drink on the ride home after a hard work out.
Investment:
$15 for new players without the Collegiate Prep water bottle
$12 for returners with the Collegiate Prep water bottle
